Las armas de los Maturana se encuentran plasmadas en sendos blasones esculpidos en las paredes de la Capilla de san Bartolomé de la Catedral de Santa María de Vitoria. La capilla abre al cuarto tramo de la Epístola, construida en la década de 1560 como capilla funeraria de los Maturana. Abre a la nave mediante un arco sobre pilastras estriadas y se cubre con bóveda de combados con nueve claves, la central con el escudo de los comitentes y el resto con figuras de apóstoles y padres de la iglesia. En 1826 se añadió el enterramiento de don Prudencio María de Verástegui.
The coat of arms of the Maturana family can be found in two coats of arms sculpted on the walls of the Chapel of Saint Bartholomew in the Cathedral of Santa María de Vitoria. The chapel opens to the fourth section of the Epistle, built in the decade of 1560 as the funeral chapel of the Maturana family. It opens to the nave through an arch on fluted pilasters and is covered with a cambered vault with nine keystones, the central one with the coat of arms of the principals and the rest with figures of apostles and fathers of the church. In 1826 the burial of Don Prudencio María de Verástegui was added.
